Matt currently focuses on film and scripted and unscripted television, advising networks, studios, production companies and individual writers, producers and directors on development, finance and production counsel matters.
Matt graduated from New York Law School in 2008. Prior to attending law school, Matt worked as a production professional on over 50 commercial, music video, television and feature film projects.
Prior to working in production, Matt worked in story development at Spike Lee’s 40 Acres and A Mule Filmworks from 2000 – 2003. At 40 Acres, Matt helped take projects from a one sentence logline to a fully-realized production.
He evaluated screenplays, novels and other materials and worked closely with writers, producers, directors and actors (and their representatives) in developing projects and soliciting funding. Matt continues to work with writers and producers as a creative consultant as well as a legal advisor.
