Jennifer Newman is a music, media, and entertainment attorney and a partner at Ritholz Levy Fields LLP with over a decade of experience advising clients across music, entertainment, television, video games, film, and other media platforms. Her practice centers on the intersection of music and media, with a particular focus on organizing and executing high-volume and intricate music-related projects.

Jennifer serves as lead outside music counsel to a global video game company, overseeing large-scale licensing and rights clearance efforts in support of worldwide releases and marketing initiatives. In addition, she serves as production counsel specializing in unscripted and documentary programing, working closely with production companies and major distributors from development through exhibition. Jennifer has led large-scale media and music campaigns for globally recognized companies, managing celebrity talent engagement, live event production, negotiations with major music labels and publishers, and complex rights clearances projects. She brings deep experience in music licensing for film, television, video games, advertising, and digital media, designing and implementing efficient, organized processes to help clients navigate time-sensitive productions.

Jennifer graduated Summa Cum Laude from The State University of New York at Binghamton with a B.A. in Sociology, and received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where she served as an Associate Editor for the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal.
