Edward Colón is Trademarks Manager for Ritholz Levy Fields LLP where he focuses on the prosecution, maintenance and enforcement of our client’s global portfolio of marks.

As a highly experienced paralegal, Edward helps clients assess the availability of trademarks for use and registration, develop and implement complex trademark registration and protection strategies, overcome objections to applications issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, monitor and enforce trademark rights, file for copyright protection, and manage trademark disputes throughout the world.

On the transactional side, Edward conducts due diligence and drafts agreements to ensure the successful and complete transfer of intellectual property rights.

As a producer, composer, DJ, mixing engineer, and the former owner of the independent dance music label One Records, Edward’s extensive experience in the music industry provides him with a keen awareness and sensitivity of the needs of our clients in the creative industries.
